We love Miss Lyndee and The Sewing Jungle.  My 9 year old daughter has been taking sewing lessons from Miss Lyndee for nearly 3 years now and we have loved every minute.  Under the careful guidance of her sewing teacher my daughter has made such wonderful things as pajamas, decorative pillows, a backpack, and even some of her own clothes for school.  Miss Lyndee does a wonderful job of not only teaching the girls important sewing skills, but she also encourages their creativity, teaches critical thinking and problem solving skills, and fosters a great positive atmosphere of friendship and hard work.  If you are looking for a family friendly, fun sewing class with a teacher who really knows her stuff, then I highly recommend The Sewing Jungle.  You'll be amazed at what your child will create!
